Inside our fusers:
The Upper Heat Roller or Fusing Sleeve
The upper fuser roller or fusing sleeve heats up to over 300° F and melts the latent image onto the paper. The upper heat roller has been manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications.
The Pressure Roller
The pressure roller maintains proper pinch pressure to ensure correct fusing of the image as well as consistent paper feed.
The Heating Element
The heating element contains a heat lamp mounted inside a metal roller. When the printer is turned on this lamp will turn on providing initial heat to the roller wrapped around it. The heating element evenly distributes the heat on the rollers.
The Roller Bearings
High quality bearings ensure fluid motion of the fuser drive assembly by reducing resistance.
The Roller Collars
Heat and stress resistant roller collars control the spacing between the upper and lower roller to provide a consistent imaging experience.
